I visited Harry on Sunday afternoon for a game of Talisman. We were at it well into the evening and the game lasted six hours. Afterwards I walked part of the way home through the Quarry gardens.

I seem to be sleeping lightly at the moment. I suspect I’m too warm. Considering the weather I should be glad that I’m warm for part of the time. Need I point out to some people that cold wet summers are equally part of global warming as hot dry summers.

First day back at the archives: most of the day I spent noting and cataloguing what copies of the New Zealand Journal of History we hold. The archivist herself is taking an extra week’s holiday at a PSSA holiday home in Queenstown with her family. I think I have stayed there previously.
